Ireland Baldwin glamorizes marijuana in lingerie-clad 4/20 tribute

Ireland Basinger-Baldwin kicked off her 4/20 celebrations early on Wednesday by starring in a gratuitous, lingerie-clad tribute to marijuana on EATS.Chris Applebaum directed the Terry Richardson-style video of the 22-year-old DT Model puffing away on a joint to the sounds of M.I.A.’s 2012 banger Bad Girls. The Guess Girl flaunted her slim 6ft2in figure in nothing more than a black lacy Honey Birdette-brand bra, thong, and garter belt. Hairstylist Randi Petersen coiffed Ireland’s blonde hair extensions and make-up artist Olga Pirmatova made sure she was ready for her close-up.Throughout the clip, Baldwin showcased weed products from the cannabis company MedMen, which operates in California, Nevada, and New York. Medicinal marijuana technically became legal in California in 1996, but it took 20 more years to make it legal recreationally for adults over 21.As of 2018, medical marijuana is legal in 29 states of the USA, while recreational marijuana is only legal in nine states.   The SoCal native discussed her views on the smoky subject over Insta-story after sharing the clip on Wednesday.’I will say this once and only once. I support marijuana as a healing and medicinal aid that has helped so many get through various kinds of physical pain,’ the bisexual beauty wrote to her 389K followers.’Also, I do believe in doing everything in moderation and responsibly.’After all-out glamorizing the drug, Ireland went on to insist ‘smoking isn’t cool’ to her ‘young followers.’   ‘No smoking isn’t cool,’ the heavily-tattooed millennial noted.’Some will enjoy it, some won’t. It’s a choice you get to make when you’re of age. But if you decide you like smoking a lil pot, hit me up when you’re 21 and we can roll one together and watch some nature documentaries.’Back in 2015, Baldwin did a curious three-week stint at the $20K-a-month SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu. At the time, the Sierra Canyon School grad stressed that her rehab stint was for the ‘treatment of emotional trauma.’ ‘Someday I’ll feel ready to share my story,’ teased in a since-deleted tweet.’I need to overcome everything that I had been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in unreachable places.’Ireland was only 5 years old when her parents – Oscar winner Kim Basinger and Oscar nominee Alec Baldwin – ended their marriage in 2000 and bitterly battled over her custody in court. The 60-year-old SNL star – who left a notorious voicemail for Ireland which went public in 2007 – is now expecting his fifth child with his 34-year-old second wife, Hilaria.
